Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam and be at least 28 years old but not older than 40 as of April 1, 2023 (the maximum age limit is 43 years old for those who fall under the SC, ST, or OBC categories).
- The candidate needs to have the following educational qualifications:
- Minimum requirements Category X Pass for general category students (for SC/ST/OBC candidates: up to class X) diploma holders in other technical courses; postgraduates; holders of degrees in professional courses such as engineering, MBBS, BDS, veterinary medicine, agriculture, etc.; and Polytechnics.
- The candidate must have the skills they need, backgrounds, know-how, etc. to take part in activities that earn money.
- The candidates need to have a bank account that was opened before December 31, 2023.
- The candidate should not have ever had a default on a loan from a nationalized or cooperative bank.
- This system only allows one family member to receive benefits at a time.
- The candidate’s Employment Exchange registration must be current.
- The applicants should have a bank account, which has been opened before 31st December 2023.
- The applicant should not have defaulted on any loan taken from a Co-operative and Nationalized Bank in the past.
- No more than one family member shall be eligible for availing benefits under this scheme.
